How Much to Budget for a 15-Guest Yacht Celebration

Planning a yacht celebration for 15 guests in Abu Dhabi starts with choosing the right package, then allowing room for the extras that suit your group. For this guest count, current two-hour packages range from AED 1,500 to AED 2,896, with the cake and deck decoration already included. That means a realistic starting budget is AED 1,500 before any optional additions, while a more premium choice may cost AED 2,896 or more.

What a 15-guest yacht package costs

Three boats in the current fleet are listed for 15 guests, all departing from the Abu Dhabi Corniche:

• Marina Villa: AED 1,500 for two hours, or AED 100 per guest.
• Al Maharia S: AED 1,800 for two hours, or AED 120 per guest.
• Maya Luxury Boat: AED 2,896 for two hours, approximately AED 193 per guest.

These are package prices, not prices per person. The two-hour package includes the cake and deck decoration, so you do not need to add those items again when building your initial budget. The minimum charter is two hours, making this the starting duration for a birthday, family gathering or small celebration at sea.

Which option suits your celebration?

Marina Villa is the lowest-priced option for a 15-guest group and leaves the most room in the budget for food or activities. Al Maharia S sits in the middle, making it a useful choice when you want to move beyond the entry-level budget while keeping the total controlled. Maya Luxury Boat has the highest listed two-hour price among the 15-guest options and may suit guests looking for a more premium boat setting.

All three are listed at the Abu Dhabi Corniche, which is convenient for a celebration with city views and access to the waterfront. Depending on the agreed route and operating arrangements, you can plan a coastal experience around Abu Dhabi landmarks such as the Corniche and views toward Emirates Palace. A boat listed for the Corniche should not be assumed to depart from Saadiyat Island, Yas Marina or Zayed Port, so confirm the marina and meeting point when requesting a quotation.

How much should you allow for extra hours?

Two hours can work well for a short birthday gathering, cake cutting and group photographs. If you want more relaxed time on the water, the extra-hour rates are:

• Marina Villa: AED 500 per additional hour, making a three-hour package AED 2,000.
• Al Maharia S: AED 650 per additional hour, making a three-hour package AED 2,450.
• Maya Luxury Boat: AED 1,198 per additional hour, making a three-hour package AED 4,094.

The extra-hour rate applies only beyond the included two package hours. For example, a three-hour Marina Villa celebration is AED 1,500 plus AED 500, not AED 500 total. If your group wants time for a meal, water activity and photographs without rushing, include the additional hour from the start of your planning.

Optional food, drinks and activities

The package already includes the cake, but you can add other refreshments and experiences if needed. A mixed fruit platter costs AED 100. Mix Grill is AED 100 with a two-meal minimum, while seafood is AED 150 with a two-meal minimum. Drinks for the celebration can include water, juices and soft drinks.

For activities, one hour of jet ski time is AED 500. A one-hour donut ride or banana boat is AED 550 each. These additions can change the total quickly, so decide whether your priority is a longer cruise, a meal or a water activity. For example, a Marina Villa two-hour package plus a mixed fruit platter would be AED 1,600. Adding one hour of jet ski time would bring that combination to AED 2,100. These examples use listed prices only and do not include any items described as price on request.

Decoration and cake planning

Standard cake and deck decoration are included in every fleet package listed above. If you want a different cake design, custom cake options are available from Starter through Showstopper, with prices on request. Additional decoration and balloons are listed at AED 150. Because the package already includes deck decoration, ask whether an additional decoration order is needed for your chosen theme before adding it to the budget.

You can also request a flower bouquet, photographer or limousine car pick-up, but each of these is priced on request. They should be treated as separate allowances rather than fixed costs until the details are confirmed.

A practical budget for 15 guests

For a straightforward two-hour celebration, budget AED 1,500 to AED 2,896 for the yacht package itself. A value-focused plan could use Marina Villa at AED 1,500. A mid-range plan with Al Maharia S is AED 1,800. For a premium 15-guest choice, Maya Luxury Boat is AED 2,896. Add only the extras that matter to your occasion, and remember that any charter longer than two hours uses the relevant boat's extra-hour rate.
