Do I Need to Request Water Activities in Advance?
Adding a water activity can turn a yacht celebration in Abu Dhabi into a more active day on the water. If you are considering a jet ski, donut ride or banana boat, it is best to request it while planning your yacht charter rather than waiting until the celebration begins. This gives the team clear information about your preferred activity, timing and group size before the trip is arranged.
Which water activities can be added?
The listed water-activity options are available as separate add-ons. You can add one hour of Jet Ski for AED 500, one hour of Donut Ride for AED 550, or one hour of Banana Boat for AED 550. These prices are separate from the yacht package price.
Water activities are especially useful for groups that want more than a relaxed cruise. A birthday group may spend part of the charter enjoying the views and cake, then use time for an activity on the water. The right choice depends on the atmosphere you want, the number of guests taking part and how you want to divide the charter time.
Why request the activity before the celebration?
Requesting the activity in advance helps you discuss the practical details before the yacht outing. You can ask which option suits your group, whether the preferred activity can be arranged for your planned charter, and how it should fit into the day. The activity also needs to be considered alongside the yacht’s route and departure arrangements.
This is important when your group has a detailed schedule. For example, you may want time for photographs near the Abu Dhabi Corniche, a cake moment on board, and then a water activity before returning. If your charter is connected with a wider plan around Yas Marina, Saadiyat Island or another Abu Dhabi location, raising the request early helps keep the celebration organised. Availability is not confirmed until the request is reviewed.
How does the activity affect the yacht package?
The minimum yacht charter is two hours. The two-hour package price includes the cake and deck decoration, so these do not need to be ordered again for the standard celebration package. Water activities are additional and are priced separately.
If you want to stay on the yacht beyond the package hours, the extra-hour charge depends on the selected boat. For example, the Haya House Boat has a two-hour package of AED 2,000 and an extra-hour rate of AED 750, while the House Boat Luxury M1 has a two-hour package of AED 2,500 and an extra-hour rate of AED 1,000. The water-activity charge is separate from either of these yacht rates.
Choose the boat and activity together
Your guest count should be considered before requesting a water activity. The fleet includes options for different group sizes, from the eight-guest Panda 1 Luxury Yacht to the 40-guest House Boat Luxury M1. Other choices include the 10-guest 40 Ft Birthday Yacht, the 20-guest Haya House Boat and the 30-guest King House Boat.
Start by reviewing the Abu Dhabi yacht fleet, then note your guest number, preferred marina and the activity you are considering. Charters may be planned around locations including Abu Dhabi Corniche, Al Bateen Marina, Saadiyat Island, Yas Marina or Zayed Port. The departure location should be discussed with the team before final planning.
What should you include in your request?
When contacting the team, share the celebration date you are considering, the number of guests, your preferred yacht, the marina or area you have in mind, and whether you want a Jet Ski, Donut Ride or Banana Boat. Also mention whether everyone will participate or only part of the group. You can contact the team on WhatsApp at +971505041445.
For more ideas, see the Abu Dhabi yacht water sports service. If your main priority is a birthday setting, the birthday yacht service can help you compare the celebration details with your chosen activity. Requesting the water activity early does not confirm a booking, but it allows the options and pricing to be reviewed together.
