How Much Does a 12-Guest Yacht Birthday Cost?

Planning a birthday on the water for 12 guests in Abu Dhabi? The cost depends on whether you choose a boat designed for exactly 12 people or a larger yacht with more space. Current two-hour packages accommodating your group range from AED 1,500 to AED 11,500. Every listed package includes the cake and deck decoration, so these essentials do not need to be added separately.

What is the price for 12 guests?

There are two yachts in the fleet with a stated capacity of exactly 12 guests. The SNR Luxury House Boat costs AED 2,898 for two hours and includes the cake and decoration. An additional hour is AED 1,199, meaning a three-hour charter would be AED 4,097 before any optional extras.

For a more exclusive experience, the Mangosta Luxury Yacht accommodates 12 guests. Its two-hour package is AED 11,500, with an extra-hour rate of AED 4,500. This is a premium choice for a smaller group that wants a high-end yacht setting rather than the lowest possible price.

Can a larger boat be more affordable?

Yes. A 12-person party does not have to book a yacht with a 12-guest capacity. Several boats with room for 15 or more guests offer lower prices. The Marina Villa accommodates 15 guests and costs AED 1,500 for two hours, with an extra hour at AED 500. The Al Maharia S also accommodates 15 guests and costs AED 1,800 for two hours, with an extra hour at AED 650.

Other suitable options include the Haya House Boat for up to 20 guests at AED 2,000 for two hours, the 62 Ft Tecno Yacht for up to 18 guests at AED 2,749.50, and the Maya Luxury Boat for up to 15 guests at AED 2,896. For guests who prefer a larger setting, the 68 Ft Super Yacht accommodates 16 guests at AED 4,100 for two hours.

What does the package include?

The two-hour package price already includes a cake and deck decoration. This is important when comparing quotes because the advertised package is not just the boat hire. You can review the wider Abu Dhabi yacht fleet by guest capacity, location and price before choosing the right setting for your birthday.

Drinks for the celebration can be arranged as water, juices and soft drinks. Optional food and activity add-ons are priced separately. A mix fruits platter is AED 100. Mix grill is AED 100 with a two-meal minimum, while seafood is AED 150 with a two-meal minimum.

Optional extras and activities

If you want to personalise the celebration beyond the included cake and decoration, a vanilla cake or chocolate cake is AED 150 each, and additional decoration and balloons are AED 150. A flower bouquet, photographer and limousine car pick-up are available at a price on request. Custom cakes are also available in Starter, Classic, Premium, Deluxe, Grand and Showstopper options at a price on request. See the custom cake service if the birthday has a particular theme or design.

For a more active celebration, one hour of jet ski is AED 500. A one-hour donut ride or banana boat is AED 550 each. These activities can change the total significantly, so decide whether your priority is a relaxed cruise, a meal and cake onboard, or time on the water.

Where can the birthday take place?

Many of the listed yachts depart from or are based around Abu Dhabi Corniche, making it easy to plan a route with views of the city waterfront. Depending on the selected boat and marina arrangements, other local locations include Al Bateen Marina, Saadiyat Island, Yas Marina and Zayed Port.

A Corniche cruise works well for a classic Abu Dhabi skyline setting. A Saadiyat option can suit guests who want to be closer to the island’s coastal atmosphere and landmarks such as Louvre Abu Dhabi. Emirates Palace and Lulu Island may also form part of the surrounding views, depending on the route and operating arrangements. Yas Marina is a separate marina choice for groups who want a Yas Island setting, while Al Bateen Marina and Zayed Port offer other starting points to discuss when planning.

How to estimate your final budget

For the simplest two-hour celebration, budget AED 1,500 for the Marina Villa, AED 1,800 for Al Maharia S, AED 2,000 for Haya House Boat, or AED 2,898 for the SNR Luxury House Boat. If you want exactly 12 guests and a more premium yacht, the listed options are AED 2,898 or AED 11,500 for two hours.

For three hours, add only the stated extra-hour rate to the two-hour package: AED 500 for Marina Villa, AED 650 for Al Maharia S, AED 750 for Haya House Boat, AED 1,199 for SNR Luxury House Boat, or AED 4,500 for Mangosta Luxury Yacht. The minimum charter is two hours.
