Can I Add Water Sports to an Abu Dhabi Yacht Celebration?
Yes, water sports can be part of an Abu Dhabi yacht celebration when they are arranged as an additional activity alongside the charter. The available options in the package menu are a one-hour jet ski for AED 500, a one-hour donut ride for AED 550 and a one-hour banana boat for AED 550. These are add-ons, so they are priced separately from the yacht package.
Which water sports can I add?
There are three listed choices for adding an active element to a birthday, party or family gathering at sea:
- Jet ski: Add one hour for AED 500.
- Donut ride: Add one hour for AED 550.
- Banana boat: Add one hour for AED 550.
A jet ski may suit guests who want an individual activity, while a donut ride or banana boat can create a more social experience for a group. The right option depends on the guests, the planned route and the arrangements made for the celebration. Ask about the activity when planning your charter so the timing and suitability can be considered properly.
How does the timing work?
The minimum yacht charter is two hours. The two-hour package already includes the cake and deck decoration, which means you do not need to add those items again when planning the celebration. The water-sports prices are separate from the yacht package and cover one hour of the selected activity.
If you want more time on the yacht itself, the extra-hour rate for the chosen boat applies only beyond the package hours. For example, a two-hour booking remains the package duration, while any additional yacht time is calculated using that boat’s listed extra-hour rate. The one-hour water-sports add-on should be planned as part of the overall schedule rather than treated as extra yacht cruising time.
Which yacht is suitable for a water-sports celebration?
Start with the number of guests and then choose the boat. Panda 1 Luxury Yacht accommodates up to 8 guests and has a two-hour package of AED 1,200. For up to 10 guests, the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht is AED 1,598 for two hours, while the 55 Ft Luxury Yacht is AED 2,200. Shark Yacht accommodates up to 10 guests with a two-hour package of AED 2,098.
For larger groups, Haya House Boat accommodates up to 20 guests from AED 2,000 for two hours, and House Boat Luxury M1 accommodates up to 40 guests from AED 2,500. King House Boat and Lavy Luxury Yacht each accommodate up to 30 guests and have two-hour packages of AED 3,500. These prices include the cake and deck decoration.

Where can the celebration take place?
Many listed boats depart from or operate around Abu Dhabi Corniche, making the waterfront a practical setting for a birthday with city views. Depending on the selected boat and arrangements, other marina areas in the wider charter network include Al Bateen Marina, Saadiyat Island, Yas Marina and Zayed Port.
A Corniche celebration can bring the Abu Dhabi skyline and waterfront atmosphere into the background of your photos. A Saadiyat option may be appealing if you want a route near Saadiyat Island and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Yas Marina can be useful for guests who want to combine a yacht plan with time around Yas Island. The exact marina and route should be discussed during planning rather than assumed from the boat name.
How should I plan the guest experience?
Water sports work best when the schedule leaves enough time for boarding, the yacht experience, the activity and the return to the marina. For a birthday, many families prefer to begin with a relaxed cruise and refreshments, move to the selected water sport, and finish with cake and photographs on deck. The package cake and deck decoration are included, while additional choices such as a mix fruits platter cost AED 100, and vanilla or chocolate cake options cost AED 150 when ordered separately.
For food, the listed options include mix grill at AED 100 with a two-meal minimum and seafood at AED 150 with a two-meal minimum. Drinks for the celebration can include water, juices and soft drinks. If you want a personalised cake or a different styling concept, you can review the custom cake options and yacht decoration service. These are separate planning choices, and the standard package already includes a cake and deck decoration.
What should I confirm before booking?
Share the guest count, preferred marina area, celebration type and the water sport you are considering. It is also useful to explain whether children or older family members will be attending, so the activity can be discussed appropriately. Confirm the selected boat’s capacity, the two-hour package price, the extra-hour rate if needed, and the separate cost of the water-sports add-on.
Because a water-sports activity requires coordination with the yacht schedule, it should be requested before final arrangements are made. The team can also discuss optional extras such as a photographer, flower bouquet or limousine car pick-up, which are available at prices on request.
