How to Plan a Yacht Celebration with Emirates Palace Views
A yacht celebration with views of Emirates Palace brings together Abu Dhabi’s coastline, a private setting and a memorable way to mark a birthday or special occasion. The key is to plan the guest list, boat size, boarding details and celebration setup before choosing a package. From the Abu Dhabi Corniche, your group may enjoy changing views of the waterfront, Emirates Palace and nearby landmarks, subject to the agreed route and conditions on the day.
Start with the guest list and the boat size
The number of guests is the first practical decision. A smaller group can enjoy a more intimate yacht experience, while a larger birthday party needs a house boat or yacht with enough room for seating, movement, food and photographs.
- For up to 8 guests, Panda 1 Luxury Yacht starts at AED 1,200 for two hours.
- For up to 10 guests, the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht starts at AED 1,598, while the 55 Ft Luxury Yacht starts at AED 2,200.
- For up to 15 guests, Marina Villa starts at AED 1,500 and Al Maharia S starts at AED 1,800.
- For up to 20 guests, Haya House Boat starts at AED 2,000, while the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat starts at AED 3,698 from Saadiyat Island.
- For larger celebrations, House Boat Luxury M1 accommodates up to 40 guests from AED 2,500 for two hours.
Every listed package has a two-hour minimum. The package price includes the cake and deck decoration, so you can focus your planning budget on the boat, guest comfort and any additional activities.

Choose the right starting point for Emirates Palace views
Most of the boats listed for this type of celebration depart from the Abu Dhabi Corniche, making them a natural choice for a waterfront itinerary that may include views towards Emirates Palace. The exact route should be discussed when arranging the charter. Ask which boarding point is planned, how the route will be timed and where guests are likely to enjoy the clearest views for group photographs.
Other listed locations include Saadiyat Island, Yas Marina, Al Bateen Marina and Zayed Port. A Saadiyat departure can suit guests who also want a coastal setting near Saadiyat’s cultural district and Louvre Abu Dhabi, while a Corniche departure is the more direct option to discuss for an Emirates Palace-focused celebration. Do not assume that every boat visits every landmark; confirm the route and boarding instructions in advance.
Build the celebration around a simple two-hour plan
A two-hour charter can be organised into a relaxed sequence. Welcome guests at the marina, allow time for boarding and group photographs, then settle into the cruise as the crew follows the agreed route. Plan the cake moment after everyone is comfortable, with the Emirates Palace backdrop or Corniche skyline providing a strong setting for photographs when conditions allow.
If you want more time for conversation, dining and photographs, an extra hour can be added at the boat’s listed rate. For example, the extra hour is AED 500 on Marina Villa, AED 1,000 on House Boat Luxury M1 and AED 1,500 on King House Boat. The extra-hour rate applies only beyond the package hours. It does not replace the two-hour minimum.
Confirm the cake and decoration details
Because the two-hour package already includes a cake and deck decoration, share the celebration details early. Provide the name, age or message for the cake and explain the preferred colour direction for the decoration where possible. If you want a more specific design, the custom cake service offers Starter, Classic, Premium, Deluxe, Grand and Showstopper options at prices available on request.
Additional cake or decoration items are also listed separately, including Vanilla Cake for AED 150, Chocolate Cake for AED 150, and Decoration & Balloons for AED 150. Since the standard package already includes cake and deck decoration, treat these as optional additions or alternatives and clarify the arrangement before ordering. You can also request a flower bouquet or photographer, with prices available on request. See the yacht decoration service for more planning ideas.
Plan food, drinks and optional activities
Keep the menu easy to serve while guests enjoy the view. Available extras include a Mix Fruits Platter for AED 100, Mix Grill for AED 100 with a two-meal minimum, and Seafood for AED 150 with a two-meal minimum. Drinks should be planned as water, juices and soft drinks for a comfortable family celebration.
For an active itinerary, you can ask about one-hour additions such as a Jet Ski for AED 500, a Donut Ride for AED 550 or a Banana Boat for AED 550. These activities need to fit the boat, guest group and agreed schedule, so confirm the details before adding them. For broader ideas, visit the birthday yacht service page.
Prepare guests for a smooth Abu Dhabi celebration
Send the boarding location, arrival time, parking guidance and a simple schedule to every guest. Encourage comfortable clothing, sun protection and phone storage that is practical around water. Confirm the final guest count, cake message, food choices, requested route and any photographer or water-sports requirements before the charter.
When contacting the team, include your preferred date, guest number, celebration type and interest in Emirates Palace views.
