Private Yacht Celebrations for Immediate Family
Yes, a private yacht celebration can be arranged for immediate family only. In Abu Dhabi, a yacht gives your family a private setting away from crowded restaurants, with the Corniche skyline, calm coastal views and time together on the water. It can suit a birthday, family milestone, graduation or a simple celebration with parents, children and siblings.
Choose a yacht that fits your family
The first decision is the number of guests. The fleet includes smaller yachts for close family gatherings as well as larger house boats when you want extra space for children, grandparents or a larger immediate-family group. Every listed package has a minimum charter of two hours.
For up to eight guests, the Panda 1 Luxury Yacht is listed at AED 1,200 for two hours, with an extra hour at AED 450. For up to 10 guests, the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht is AED 1,598 for two hours, while the 55 Ft Luxury Yacht is AED 2,200. Both packages include the cake and deck decoration.
Families of up to 12 can consider the Shark Yacht at AED 2,098 for two hours or the SNR Luxury House Boat at AED 2,898. For up to 15 guests, options include Marina Villa at AED 1,500, Al Maharia S at AED 1,800 and Maya Luxury Boat at AED 2,896 for two hours. These prices include cake and decoration, and each yacht has its own extra-hour rate.
Family-friendly space and privacy
A private booking means your group can enjoy the yacht together rather than sharing the celebration with unrelated guests. You can keep the atmosphere relaxed, arrange family photographs, serve the cake when everyone is ready and let children enjoy the views at their own pace. A smaller boat may feel more intimate, while a house boat can provide more room for seating and moving around.
For a bigger family gathering, the House Boat Luxury M1 and House Boat Luxury M2 each accommodate up to 40 guests. Their two-hour package prices are AED 2,500 and AED 2,700 respectively, with cake and deck decoration included. The King House Boat and Lavy Luxury Yacht each accommodate up to 30 guests at AED 3,500 for two hours. Explore the full Abu Dhabi yacht fleet to compare capacities, locations and prices.
Where can the family cruise?
Several listed yachts depart from Abu Dhabi Corniche, making them practical for a celebration with views around the city waterfront. Depending on the selected yacht and departure arrangements, a family outing can be planned around Abu Dhabi’s coastal scenery, with the Corniche, Emirates Palace and Lulu Island forming memorable points of interest from the water.
The 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat is listed for up to 20 guests at AED 3,698 for two hours and is based at Saadiyat Island. This can suit families who want a different coastal setting near Saadiyat’s cultural district and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The available marina list also includes Al Bateen Marina, Yas Marina and Zayed Port. The departure location should be checked for the specific yacht selected.
What is included in the package?
The listed two-hour birthday packages already include a cake and deck decoration. This makes it easier to organise a family event without arranging those two basics separately. If you want to add further details, optional extras include a Mix Fruits Platter for AED 100, Vanilla Cake for AED 150, Chocolate Cake for AED 150, and Decoration & Balloons for AED 150.
Custom cakes are also available in Starter, Classic, Premium, Deluxe, Grand and Showstopper options, with prices available on request. Families planning a themed birthday can review the custom cake service or the yacht decoration service. A flower bouquet, photographer and limousine car pick-up are available on request.
Food, drinks and activities for relatives
For a straightforward family menu, the available food extras include Mix Grill at AED 100, with a minimum of two meals, and Seafood at AED 150, also with a minimum of two meals. Drinks should be planned as water, juices and soft drinks so that children and adults have suitable non-alcoholic options throughout the cruise.
If your family enjoys activities, the listed add-ons include one hour of Jet Ski for AED 500, one hour of Donut Ride for AED 550 and one hour of Banana Boat for AED 550. These may be more suitable for families with older children and confident swimmers. For younger children or grandparents, you may prefer to keep the celebration focused on conversation, cake, food and sightseeing.
How long should you book?
The minimum charter is two hours, which gives enough time for boarding, settling in, enjoying refreshments, taking family pictures and celebrating the cake moment. If you want a slower cruise or plan to include a water activity, an additional hour can be requested at the yacht’s stated extra-hour rate. For example, Marina Villa is AED 500 for each extra hour, Haya House Boat is AED 750, and the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht is AED 549.
When planning, count every guest, including children, and consider whether grandparents need easy seating and shade. Keep the schedule simple, choose food that suits the family and confirm the meeting point, boarding instructions and yacht-specific arrangements before proceeding.
