Can I Plan a Yacht Outing Near Louvre Abu Dhabi?

Yes, a yacht outing near Louvre Abu Dhabi can be part of a memorable Abu Dhabi celebration. The practical details depend on the boat, group size, departure point and the route agreed for the charter. Because the Louvre is on Saadiyat Island, it is sensible to ask about a Saadiyat-based option or discuss the most suitable itinerary from another listed marina before arranging your day.

Choosing a departure point

The fleet includes boats departing from Abu Dhabi Corniche and a 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat based at Saadiyat Island. Other listed marinas include Al Bateen Marina, Yas Marina and Zayed Port. For guests who want the Louvre Abu Dhabi area to be central to the outing, Saadiyat Island is the most directly relevant location to discuss. A Corniche departure may also suit groups who want a broader Abu Dhabi waterfront experience, potentially taking in views around the Corniche while the route is being planned.

It is important to confirm the meeting point, sailing plan and timing with the charter team. A yacht charter does not automatically include entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi, a museum visit or a private landing at the museum. The outing should be planned as a time on the water, with the Louvre and Saadiyat waterfront forming part of the wider setting where appropriate.

Yachts for different group sizes

For a larger birthday or family gathering, the House Boat Luxury M1 accommodates up to 40 guests and has a two-hour package priced at AED 2,500. House Boat Luxury M2 also accommodates up to 40 guests, with a two-hour package at AED 2,700. Both prices include the cake and deck decoration.

For smaller groups, the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat accommodates up to 20 guests and has a two-hour package priced at AED 3,698, including cake and decoration. The Haya House Boat accommodates up to 20 guests from Abu Dhabi Corniche, with a two-hour package at AED 2,000. Groups of up to 10 can also consider the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht at AED 1,598 for two hours or Panda 1 Luxury Yacht at AED 1,200 for two hours.

These are examples rather than a recommendation for every group. You can compare the full Abu Dhabi yacht fleet by capacity, location and package price before narrowing down your choice.

What is included in the package?

The listed two-hour birthday packages include the cake and deck decoration. The minimum charter is two hours. If you want to stay longer, the extra-hour rate applies only beyond the package hours. For example, the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat has an extra-hour rate of AED 1,599, while the Haya House Boat has an extra-hour rate of AED 750. The additional time should be arranged in advance rather than assumed on the day.

For guests planning a non-birthday outing, it is worth clarifying which celebration format best suits the booking. More ideas are available through the yacht experiences page, while the birthday yacht service page focuses on birthday arrangements.

Food, drinks and optional activities

Water, juices and soft drinks can be planned for the group. Available food add-ons include a Mix Fruits Platter for AED 100, Mix Grill for AED 100 with a two-meal minimum, and Seafood for AED 150 with a two-meal minimum. Vanilla Cake and Chocolate Cake are each AED 150 when ordered as listed extras. Since the package already includes a cake, ask about an additional cake only if you need a different size, flavour or design.

For a more active outing, the listed extras include one hour of Jet Ski for AED 500, one hour of Donut Ride for AED 550 and one hour of Banana Boat for AED 550. These activities should be checked for suitability, timing and group requirements when planning the itinerary. A photographer, flower bouquet, limousine car pick-up and custom cakes are available on request, with prices confirmed separately. You can also review the custom cake options and yacht decoration service.

How to plan the outing

Start by confirming the number of guests, preferred date, desired departure marina and whether the Louvre Abu Dhabi area is a key part of the route. Then compare the boat’s capacity, two-hour package price and extra-hour rate. Share any food, decoration, photography or water-sports requests before finalising the arrangements. The charter team can advise on the practical route and meeting point, but availability must be checked for your chosen date and is not guaranteed until arrangements are confirmed.
