Choosing the Right Yacht Size for 10–20 Guests

For a birthday party of 10 to 20 people, choosing the right yacht capacity is about more than counting seats. You also need enough room for dining, the birthday cake, decorations, movement and comfortable views of Abu Dhabi’s coastline. The fleet offers several suitable choices, from compact yachts for 10 guests to house boats designed for groups of 20.

Start with your actual guest list

Choose a boat with capacity above your confirmed number rather than booking exactly to the limit. For 10 guests, the 40 Ft Birthday Yacht accommodates 10 guests and has a 2-hour package price of AED 1,598. The 55 Ft Luxury Yacht also accommodates 10 and costs AED 2,200 for two hours. If you want a smaller setting, Panda 1 Luxury Yacht accommodates 8, so it is not suitable for a 10-person guest list.

For a group of 12, Shark Yacht accommodates 10 and should therefore be ruled out. Better matches include SNR Luxury House Boat for up to 12 guests at AED 2,898 for two hours, or Mangosta Luxury Yacht for up to 12 guests at AED 11,500. These options suit different celebration styles and budgets.

Best choices for 13 to 16 guests

For 13 to 15 people, look at boats with capacity for 15 guests. Marina Villa is the most affordable listed option in this range at AED 1,500 for two hours, while Al Maharia S costs AED 1,800. Maya Luxury Boat is AED 2,896, and each has a 15-guest capacity.

For a group of 16, the 68 Ft Super Yacht accommodates exactly 16 guests and costs AED 4,100 for two hours. This is a practical choice when the guest list is fixed at 16, but if the number may increase, a 20-guest boat gives you more flexibility.

When 18 or 20 guests are attending

For 18 guests, the 62 Ft Tecno Yacht accommodates up to 18 and is priced at AED 2,749.50 for two hours. For a full group of 20, Haya House Boat accommodates 20 guests at AED 2,000, while the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat accommodates 20 at AED 3,698. Haya departs from the Abu Dhabi Corniche area listed for the boat, while the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat is listed at Saadiyat Island. Saadiyat can be appealing if you want your celebration connected with that part of Abu Dhabi, near places such as Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Check the package and extra time

Every listed 2-hour birthday package includes the cake and deck decoration, so you do not need to add those items to the basic calculation. The minimum charter is two hours. If you want more time, the additional-hour rate applies only beyond the package hours. For example, Haya House Boat adds AED 750 per extra hour, while the 62 Ft Tecno Yacht adds AED 1,124.75 and the 90 Ft Saadiyat House Boat adds AED 1,599.

Plan the experience around your group

For a relaxed meal and photos, allow space beyond the passenger limit where possible. On-board extras include a mix fruits platter for AED 100, vanilla or chocolate cake for AED 150 each, and decoration and balloons for AED 150. Since cake and deck decoration are already included in the package, these extras are only relevant if you want additional items. Water, juices and soft drinks can be arranged for the celebration. Mix Grill is AED 100 with a two-meal minimum, and Seafood is AED 150 with a two-meal minimum.

You can compare the full Abu Dhabi yacht fleet or review the birthday yacht service before choosing. For a party near the Corniche, consider the city views and access from Abu Dhabi. For a Saadiyat celebration, check the location carefully. A final guest count, preferred marina area and desired duration will make it easier to select the right capacity.
